Hours & Location

The Fargo landfill is available during the following times:

• Monday - Friday*: 7:15 a.m. - 5 p.m.

• Saturday*: 7:15 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  *Landfill hours may vary on legal holidays.
  The Landfill will be open on Christmas Eve, December 24 and New Years Eve, December 31, normal hours, however will be closed on Saturday, December 25, 2021 and Saturday, January 1, 2022.

The City of Fargo Landfill is available for residents of Fargo, West Fargo and rural Cass County. For more information please call 701.241.1449.

Note: When conditions are very windy, trucks and vehicles may be turned away. Heavy materials, such as wood, can be accepted during windy conditions; however, loads with paper and lightweight materials will not be accepted.
