About the presentation: New this year, North Dakota State University and the Fargo Public Library are partnering for a speaker series highlighting topics of interest to teens and adults. ​
Topic 1 – Designing to Stop Disaster
In a world where natural disasters are becoming more frequent and intense, the need for innovative solutions is paramount. This interactive presentation brings together the collaborative minds of landscape architecture and emergency management faculty at NDSU to showcase the power of design to mitigate the impact of disasters. This event is for teens and adults interested in the future of disaster prevention and resilient community planning and design. No registration is required and all materials will be provided.
