The Fargo Public Library is seeking your opinions to plan for the future. Starting today, September 18, the library is launching an eight-week survey campaign, “Your Voice, Your Future @ Your Fargo Public Library,” to gather input on what Fargo residents, both library users and non-users, want in regards to future library services and resources. In order to meet the current and future needs of the community, the library is asking for residents’ input via online surveys, community workshops and focus groups. Participants can access the online survey at www.fargolibrary.org/yourvoice. The survey results, combined with outcomes from the planning workshops and focus groups, will help determine the strategic plan for the library for the next three years.

As part of the survey process, the library is giving away two iPads. All participants who complete the online survey are eligible, but not required, to register for the giveaway. Only one entry per person and/or email address permitted. Two winners will be chosen by random drawing in mid-November.

Six community workshops will be held throughout September and October. For additional information about the workshops, or to register to attend one of the planning workshops, visit www.fargolibrary.org/yourvoice. Workshops are scheduled for the following dates, times, and locations:

Tuesday, Sept. 26: 1 – 4 p.m. at the Northport Library (2714 N. Broadway).
