Fargo Arts and Culture Commission to Host Public Art Question and Answer Information Session

The Fargo Arts and Culture Commission (ACC) is hosting a Public Art Question and Answer Information Session as part of their open Call for Artists: Public Art Projects. Potential applicants are encouraged to attend this session prior to submitting a proposal. An informal panel comprised of a member of the ACC, an artist practicing public art, the Fargo Park District, and City staff will be available during the session to assist applicants.

The Public Art Question and Answer Information Session is scheduled for Friday, October 11, 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the Meadowlark Room on the second floor of Fargo City Hall.

The deadline for applications for the Call for Artists: Public Art Projects is November 15, 12:00 Noon Central Standard Time. Artists of all disciplines and skill levels are encouraged to apply, as well as public and private organizations. Proposals should be at an implementable project level.

Applicants are expected to lead project processes, develop and implement the project, and work independently. Applications are open to the public; however, funding may only be applied to proposed public art projects which would be located within Fargo city limits.
