Local youngsters are invited to join the cast of the debut reader’s theater production of local playwright Annie Hough’s new play “Butterfly Garden Adventures.” The rehearsal and performance are Saturday, April 27, at the downtown Main Library. Open to kids in grades 1-7, there are opportunities for advanced readers to perform the speaking roles, and for younger kids to play non-speaking roles. All skills levels are welcome. This is a reader’s theater performance, and kids will be reading from a script so memorizing lines is not required. There is no cost or fee for kids to participate in this production. Pre-registration is required and can be done online or by calling the Children's Services Dept. at 701.241.1495 for more details.
