Economic Development Incentives Committee

The Economic Development Incentives Committee reviews and recommends action on policy and applications for property tax incentives. The incentive programs the committee is responsible for are the New and Expanding Industry Exemption/Payment In Lieu of Tax (PILOT), New Residence Exemption and Remodeling Exemption.

The City of Fargo Economic Development Incentives Policy & Guidelines contains the evaluation objectives and criteria used by the Tax Exempt Review Committee in reviewing individual incentive requests.

The Incentive Tracking Report provides a comprehensive overview of the PILOT/Property Tax Exemptions provided to Primary Sector Companies from 2016 to 2024. The results of the report can be found here.

Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of every month at 1:00 p.m. in Fargo City Hall, 225 4th Street North Fargo, ND 58102.
