Commissioner Michelle Turnberg

Commissioner Michelle Turnberg was elected to the Fargo City Commission in June 2024.

For the last 30 years, Michelle Turnberg has called Fargo her home after moving from Minnesota. She pursued her education at Concordia College, earning a degree in Biology; Michelle furthered her studies at Minnesota State University Moorhead where she received a degree in Mass Communications and Broadcast Journalism.

Michelle spent 16 years as a news anchor, serving the local community through various stations.

Now residing in south Fargo, Michelle works in medical sales. She is a devoted mother to two adult children, both of whom attend North Dakota State University.
