In recognition of Mexico’s Independence Day, the Fargo Public Library in partnership with NDSU’s Emily Reynolds Historic Costume Collection (ERHCC) and Cultura Amigos Salud Ambiente (a Minnesota nonprofit group that serves the Latino community of Clay and Cass counties) will host an all-ages event focused on Mexican clothing and textiles on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at 5:30 p.m. at the downtown Main Library, 101 4th St. N. All ages are welcome to explore ERHCC’s select pieces of Mexican clothing and textiles, along with Cultura Amigos Salud Ambiente’s resources to support the F-M area’s Mexican and Latino residents. No registration is required for this free event. For details, contact Lori at 701.476.5977.
