This year marks the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth, and her novels continue to captivate readers and inspire adaptations in many formats. Area residents are invited to celebrate Miss Austen and mark her birthday on Saturday, Dec. 13, starting at 2 p.m. at the Dr. James Carlson Library. Tea tasting, trivia and Regency-era activities will be part of the fun. Regency-era attire is encouraged, but not required.
