FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA – The Fargo Police Department (FPD) will host a community meeting from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, focused on the southwest side of Fargo, which is known as FPD Beat 5. This beat includes all areas south of Main Avenue and west of Interstate 29. The meeting is open to the public and will be held in the Alex Stern Family Foundation Community Room in the Fargo Parks Sports Center, 6100 38th St. S. The Community Room is on the south end of the building and can be accessed by entering through the south main entrance. All interested community members are encouraged to attend.
The meeting will begin with a presentation from FPD officers, featuring an overview of departmental operations, a review of 2025 crime statistics and a summary of ongoing initiatives within the beat. Questions will be welcomed throughout the presentation. Following the presentation, the floor will be opened for further discussion.
The event is part of a series of community meetings planned for neighborhoods around Fargo. The goal of the meetings is to provide opportunities for direct connection between community members and the officers serving local neighborhoods, support the exchange of feedback and help explain the department’s efforts to maintain safety throughout Fargo.
