The Fargo Public Library’s 2026 Summer Reading Challenge, "Unearth a Story," is going on now through August 15. This year’s program offers a summer-long lineup of weekly storytimes, special performances and unique activities tailored for all ages – kids, teens and adults. Anyone can participate in this free program by reading, attending events and completing challenges.
Registration for the summer reading challenge is online and readers can join the program any time until Aug. 15. The program uses Beanstack, an online service for readers of all ages, to log the days they spend reading to earn prizes. Register at https://fargolibrary.beanstack.org, or pick up an official reading log at any Fargo Public Library location; all participants need to register to take part. Paper reading logs are available; however, patrons are encouraged to use the online format. Visit fargolibrary.org/SummerReadingProgram to learn more and to register. The Fargo Public Library’s Summer Reading Challenge is sponsored in part by the Friends of the Fargo Public Library.
All Fargo Public Library events are free and open to the public. Adults must accompany children ages 9 and younger. For more information regarding the Fargo Public Library and a list of upcoming Summer Reading Challenge events for all ages, call 701.241.1492
