West Fargo Alcohol Compliance Check Results

Ten businesses passed recent checks, resulting in 77% compliance rate

Alcohol compliance checks were performed in West Fargo on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. In total, 13 businesses were checked and 10 passed, resulting in a 77% compliance rate.

Fargo Cass Public Health (FCPH) conducts alcohol compliance checks in partnership with law enforcement agencies in Fargo, West Fargo and Cass County several times each year. The purpose of the checks is to ensure alcohol is not being sold to individuals under the age of 21. FCPH appreciates the cooperation of retailers across the community who are committed to following the law and preventing youth from purchasing alcohol.

West Fargo businesses that failed:
• The Saloon 95, 701 Main Ave. E. – first fail in one year
• The Local 701, 1405 Prairie Parkway - first fail in one year
• Spitfire Bar & Grill, 1660 13th Ave. E. - first fail in one year

West Fargo penalties:
• First violation - subjects licensee to a written warning and a 12-month Probationary Period.
• Second violation within the Probationary Period - subjects licensee to a $250 administrative fine.
• Third violation within the Probationary Period - subjects licensee to a $500 administrative fine and a 3-day suspension of the license.
• Subsequent violations within the Probationary Period - subject licensee to a 30-day license suspension.
