Beginning Wednesday, June 17, westbound 1st Avenue North will be closed between 10th Street North and 11th Street North. The current westbound lane closure between Broadway and 10th Street North will also remain in place during this time.
Crews will be digging down to locate underground utilities in this stretch and then patching the roadway. These are the last closures for this project and are expected to be in place for up to four days.
This is the last phase of a project to aid City project designers for a future 1st Avenue North Street Reconstruction Project. Crews worked in phases from University Drive east to 3rd Street North.
