The City of Fargo invites the community to attend the swearing-in ceremony for newly elected Mayor Josh Boschee and City Commissioners Nikkie Gullickson and Chad Peterson. The ceremony will take place at the start of the regular City Commission meeting at 5 p.m. on Monday, July 6. The event is open to the public and will be held in the Commission Chambers at Fargo City Hall, 225 4th St. N.
During the ceremony, Mayor Boschee and Commissioners Gullickson and Peterson will take the oath of office. Elected by Fargo voters in the June 9 municipal election, the three officials began their four-year terms on Wednesday, July 1.
Residents who are unable to attend in person can watch the ceremony live on The City of Fargo’s social media platforms, as well as on the City’s cable access channels and TVFargo.com. The regular City Commission meeting will proceed immediately after the swearing-in ceremony.
