The Fargo Public Library will host a four-part film series starting Saturday, April 5, at the downtown Main Library featuring movies starring iconic actor Marlon Brando. Considered one of the great actors of the 20th century, Brando changed the face of acting with his amazing range and on-screen charisma; his artistry transformed the field of acting. Local film critic Matt Olien has selected the films featured in this series and will introduce each movie and lead a brief discussion after the screenings. All films begin at 2 p.m. and are approximately 120 minutes long. Dates and film titles are:
• April 5 – The Men (1950, not rated)
• April 12 – Guys and Dolls (1955, not rated)
• April 19 – Sayonara (1957, not rated)
• May 3 – Reflections in a Golden Eye (1967, not rated)
