Regular Meeting Tuesday, November 22, 2022

The November meeting of the Economic and Development Incentive Committee of the City of Fargo, North Dakota was held in the City Commission Room at City Hall at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2022.

The committee members present or absent are:

Present: Dave Piepkorn, John Cosgriff, Jim Gilmour, Jackie Gapp, Jon Eisert, and Jessica Ebelling.

Absent: Deb Mathern, Nicole Crutchfield, Arlette Preston, Prakash Mathew, Michael Splonskowski, Steve Swiontek, Reid Middaugh, John Strand, Mayor Tim Mahoney, Levi Bachmeier, Bruce Grubb, Kent Costin, Erik Johnson, Joe Raso, Robert Wilson, Dean Brescani, Chad Peterson, and Nancy Morris and Jim Buus.

Commissioner Piepkorn called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m.

Minutes Approved

A motion was made by Dave Piepkorn to approve the minutes from July 26, 2022. Jon Cosgriff seconded, motion carries.

Packet Digital Property Tax Exemption Application

• Constructed in 1994
• 7th Ave N tax exemption. Application was submitted about 2 years ago.
• Leasing building
• $12k-$12.5K for 5 years
• Will be adding 15 jobs
• $30 an hour plus benefits. $85k would be the average salary

• Ryan Ausheim
• 11K to 24K square feet
• Connected with Aero Space
• $30 an hour plus benefits. $85k would be the average salary

• Terri Zimmerman
• Wants to add to production

• 13 patents
• Connected with Aero Space

Motion to approve tax exemption was made by John Eisert. Jessica Ebelling seconded, motion carries.
