Resources for new Americans at the Fargo Public Library

Fargo Public Library has important information and resources to assist you in the naturalization process and citizenship testing. Citizenship resources are available at all library locations. Ask a librarian for help finding what you need.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is the agency that oversees legal immigration to the United States. The official USCIS website provides information and resources on citizenship and naturalization, green cards, and other immigration topics.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Forms
All forms are available for free on the USCIS website, including the N-400 Application for Naturalization. Forms may be either downloaded or filed directly on the USCIS website.

Prepare for the Test
The USCIS provides materials to study for the English and civics test. Materials are provided in English as well as other languages.
